Growing up as an undocumented child in the U.S. can take a toll on anyone. Adding on to the responsibility of being the first born and having to pave the way for your family. Violeta has lived up to that responsibility by becoming the first American Citizen in her family, and helping them achieve a legal status. Through the Navy, Violeta was able to complete her college degree after over 9 years of hard work and on and off classes. Today, Violeta shares her story serving as an example to our community letting us know that there are opportunities for us. She is a source of inspiration to keep going and to never give up, one day we can all go from a Pobrecita to Boss!
